Yrs past when we had likes of Germany and Dutch in qualifying it meant we actually earnt getting through.
This 10 unbeaten in qualifying is farcical..and means fuck all.
But the FA and Woy truly believe they achieved ..and so it goes on and on and on.
Someone mentioned lallana earlier..classic example of bias..

Yes & he may well have Milner, Lallana, Henderson & Clyne in his side.
Rooney is a certainty despite more anonymous performances like today against the likes of John O'Shea & am sure we will see Cahill, Gibbs ,Walcott & Oxlade Chamberlain who can't nail down a permanent start in league football.
Plus all the ones like Baines & Jagielka who were failures in the World Cup.

you can understand a cautious old dodderer like hodgson playing it safe and concentrating on players from the big sides
but it seems to have passed him by that liverpool are 11th in the league
hearing him wurble on is depressing - even worse when he mentions wellbeck - a striker who has scored 24 goals in 9 premier league seasons

norm - Yeah this seeding thing gives us a good group stage platform - then the inevitable reality hits when we meet top countries we only play friendlies against, when we hit the finals.
As far as Hodgson goes I think the FA puppeteering is geared towards a long term thing, intergrating young hyped players to breed a new 'golden generation'.
I'd just like for once the fit and inform get a fair look in rather than reputation and future potential. That time Sven picked Walcott with no intention of playing him was a disgrace.

Then get delusions of grandeur..and get humiliated.
I've said it before..England should be put in a more competitive qualifying group...and that is a better gauge on where we're at...
